Our Story

Two Decades Focused on Precision Molds & Plastic Manufacturing.

CS Molds was founded to solve a problem overseas engineering teams still deal with today — mold makers who can quote a tool but can't run stable production, and molders who can't fix a mold when it needs a change. We built the company around doing both in the same building, with the same engineers who own the project from drawing to shipped part.

That structure means fewer hand-offs, faster problem-solving, and a supplier who takes real accountability — the kind of reliability that keeps global OEM programs on schedule and off your escalation list.

Who We Are

An Integrated Mold & Molding Manufacturer for Overseas OEMs.

We are a China-based precision tooling and injection molding factory serving overseas industrial buyers who need one supplier they can hold accountable for both the mold and the parts it produces — not a trading company routing your files to a workshop you'll never see.

01 · What We Manufacture

Precision Molds & Molded Plastic Parts

Injection molds and molded components covering prototype tooling through multi-cavity production molds — so one supplier can carry your program from first shot to volume delivery without you sourcing a second partner mid-project.

02 · Who We Serve

Overseas OEMs & Tier-One Suppliers

Product companies and tier-one suppliers across North America, Europe, Australia and Asia who need engineering-driven partners rather than order takers — the kind of customer who values DFM feedback and documented quality over the lowest quote.

03 · Logistics

International Shipping & Customs

FOB, CIF and DDP options across sea and air freight with customs documentation handled by our team — one supplier managing the door-to-door path instead of your buyer chasing a freight forwarder.

04 · Meetings

Remote Project Reviews

Weekly video project reviews with live workshop feed on request — your engineers can see the tool being built or the first shots coming off the machine, without booking a flight.

05 · Coverage

Cross-Time-Zone Response

Extended-hours coverage matched to North American and European working windows — technical questions answered inside your business day, not on a 24-hour delay.

06 · IP Protection

NDA & Controlled File Access

Standard NDA on request before file exchange, with controlled internal access to your CAD data — protecting the IP concerns that make overseas manufacturing a boardroom question.

Why Choose CS Molds

Six Reasons OEM Programs Stay With Us.

Everything above condensed into the six things overseas buyers tell us actually made the difference — the reasons repeat customers keep sending the next program instead of re-sourcing.

01

Early Engineering Support

Free DFM feedback before quotation catches manufacturability risks upfront — so you don't discover a redesign is needed after the mold is half-built.

02

Integrated Mold + Molding

One accountable supplier for both the tool and the parts — cutting the finger-pointing that happens when the mold maker and molder are separate companies.

03

Stable Quality Control

CMM inspection plus SPC on every production lot with lot-level traceability — measurable quality your team can verify, not a subjective report.

04

Fast RFQ Response

Engineering-reviewed quotation with DFM feedback and lead time within one working day — not a generic sales reply that delays your sourcing timeline.

05

Flexible Project Management

Comfortable running low-volume trial batches through mass production — one supplier for the full lifecycle instead of transferring tools between vendors.

06

Global Communication

English-speaking engineers and extended-hours support matched to your business day — so overseas sourcing stops feeling like a time-zone problem.

Ready to see how these translate on your specific project? Send us your drawings and we'll respond with a scoped plan.

About & Cooperation FAQ

The Questions Overseas Buyers Ask First.

Practical answers to the questions we hear at RFQ stage — so you have what you need to make a sourcing decision before you even talk to us.

01Do you sign NDAs? At what stage?
Yes — we sign your NDA before any CAD or drawing exchange. If you don't have a standard NDA, we can provide ours for review. NDA execution typically takes one working day and is our default for all overseas OEM inquiries.
02Do you support low-volume trial production before mass production?
Yes — we regularly run pilot batches from 500 to 5,000 pieces for validation and market testing before scaling to full production. Same mold, same process parameters, so what runs in trial matches what runs in mass production.
03Do you provide PPAP submissions?
Yes — PPAP levels 1 through 5, plus ISIR, IMDS and customer-specific quality documentation formats. We build the documentation workflow into the project plan from RFQ, so PPAP submission isn't a last-minute scramble before your production release.
04Who owns the mold after production ends?
You own the mold. Once you've paid the tooling invoice, the mold is your asset — we store it and maintain it for your program, and you can request transfer at any time. Ownership terms are documented in the quotation, not buried in fine print.
05Is DFM review free? What's included?
Yes — DFM review is free, included with every RFQ, and returned within one working day. It covers wall thickness, draft angles, gate location, weld line risks, tolerance feasibility and material recommendations — the same review we run internally before quoting a tool.
06What is your typical mold lead time?
Simple single-cavity molds typically take 25–35 days from design approval to first trial; complex multi-cavity or 2K molds range 45–60 days. Actual lead time is confirmed against your specific geometry, cavity count and steel selection during quotation — not quoted from a chart.
07What countries do you ship to?
We currently ship to 30+ countries across North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. FOB, CIF and DDP incoterms supported across sea and air freight, with customs documentation prepared by our export team so your buyer isn't chasing a forwarder.
08Can we visit the factory or do a remote audit?
Both. In-person plant visits are welcomed — we'll arrange logistics and technical staff. For remote audits, we run live workshop video feeds during trials and can walk your team through equipment, quality room and material storage in real time.
Question we didn't answer above? Send it with your RFQ or ask directly — we'll respond by the next business day.
